A graduate of Rutgers University’s nationally known theatre program, Ashley Kaplan combines her love of the stage with a rigorous and analytical mind to curate and deliver cutting edge information for knowledge based communities.
Ashley is an enthusiastic, comprehensive marketing professional with a decade of experience who is looking to incorporate her strategic understanding of technology and communications work to build brand awareness and market presence for a growing team.
Though having consulted for several well known matrix-scale organizations, the majority of Ashley’s roles have been in small team environments, due to her strong interpersonal skills, technical versatility, fast learning, ability to prioritize, and alter course.
Ashley takes pride in her ability to rapidly define and grow a company’s marketing presence through digital, traditional, and event marketing, while tapping into her vast technology, business, and political network throughout New Jersey and beyond.
Many of her roles have been in tech-centric organizations including her time at the NJ Tech Council, board officer for the New Brunswick Office of Innovation, a nonprofit that advises New Brunswick Mayor’s Office, City Council, and private stakeholders on how to use technology to improve quality of life for residents and businesses. Ashley has also consulted for many tech and life science organizations.
Although a strong leader and strategic guide for any marketing department, Ashley also enjoys tactical execution, which is supported by her formidable capabilities.
Ashley is well versed in paid search, display, and sense n’ serve analytics, as well as organic social media audience engagement. She is proficient in the tools necessary to accomplish her digital branding goals including Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Hootsuite, Salesforce, Photoshop, Web Design, and comprehensive lifecycle email automation. She also produces written copy for email blasts, as well as other promotional materials including press releases, case studies, client profiles, website content, and advertising material.
